Financial Templates
- Budget Templates
A user can view appropriation, expenditure, and encumbrance summary information for state agencies as reported in the Statewide Automated Accounting System (SAAS). This information was updated daily after SAAS nightly processing and is available through June 30, 2014.
Note:
- If you are running a query to view a single Accounting Month within the Budget Year you will need to create a filter with Accounting Month equal to the accounting period of the transactions (i.e. the 5th accounting period is accounting month 05 for the month of November).
- If you are running a query to view the YTD information within the Budget Year, do not create a filter for Accounting Month.
- Expenditure Templates
A user can view expenditure summary information for state agencies as reported in the Statewide Automated Accounting System (SAAS). Expenditure information is available by vendor or by coding block. This information was updated daily after SAAS nightly processing and is available for Budget Year 1993 through June 30, 2014.
- General Templates
A user can view detail transaction information for state agencies as reported in the Statewide Automated Accounting System (SAAS), the online approvals submitted for applicable SAAS documents, or the 'convenience fees' collected from users who purchase licenses/services via Mississippi.gov.
- Project Templates
A user can view budgeted, expenditure and project information for state agencies that use the project module in the Statewide Automated Accounting System (SAAS). Summary project data was updated weekly and the detail project data was loaded nightly. Information is available through June 30, 2014.
- Revenue Templates
A user can view revenue or provider summary information for state agencies that use the project module in the Statewide Automated Accounting System (SAAS). This information was updated weekly and is available through June 30, 2014.
Payroll Templates
Depending on the user’s security access, a user can view payroll information at a summary or detail level for contract and employees paid via SPAHRS for the following options:
- Payroll summary data for adjusted gross and employer matching cost amounts at the accounting code block.
- Payroll data including employee deductions at the accounting code block level.
- Payroll earning code and deduction code information.
- Payroll detail transaction information by accounting coding block (fund number, project code, reporting category code), transaction number, agency, budget year and accounting month.
This information is updated upon completion of a SPAHRS payroll run. SPAHRS transactions are provided as of July 1, 2002.
Property Templates
A user can view property data as provided from the Office of the State Auditor. This information is provided for data for Accounting Years 2004 - 2007.
Travel Templates
A user can view travel summary data as provided from Statewide Payroll and Human Resource System (SPAHRS) or travel detail transaction data as provided from Statewide Payroll and Human Resource System (SPAHRS) and Statewide Automated Accounting System (SAAS). This information is provided for data beginning as of July 1, 2000.
